Breathable / natural / non-toxic insulations

The first was Warmcel but then quickly lots of other ones followed, particularly the variety of wood fibres. The point is that we know that we need to insulate almost every element of almost every building, but the options we had before were almost exclusively impermeable, toxic and or high embodied energy.  So we were solving one problem merely to create others. Now we can solve all energy, maintenance, breathability / air quality / toxicity problems in one go and that’s a big deal.
