Game Changers LIVE

Game Changers LIVE — not just another online event

To put a spotlight on the innovative products and people in the construction industry, built environment event Futurebuild has launched Game Changers LIVE. This set of three-hour online events directly connects visitors with leading brands, giving them the most value for their time. The first event, on December 3, will focus on digital twins and their impact on the built environment.

Game Changers LIVE is an online platform that connects visitors with the most innovative brands and experts in the built environment. During each event, visitors will have the opportunity to interact with eight pioneers in different areas of the industry, such as clean energy, digital twins and circular materials, so that they can continue to specify innovative products online.

“We know that creating an online event is not as simple as replicating a physical one online,” explained Martin Hurn, event director of Futurebuild. “No one wants to spend their day listening to hours of uninspiring talks and then ‘walk’ around virtual exhibition stands with a simple logo on a screen. It gives no real value to the organiser, speaker, exhibitor or the visitor.

“Our strategy is, and always has been, to put customers first, inspire change and do things differently. So that’s what we’re doing with Game Changers LIVE. The platform is laser focussed on the game changing products in the industry, offering visitors direct interaction with manufacturers and giving them maximum output from minimal time.”

Futurebuild’s first Game Changers LIVE event, on December 3, explores the impact of digital twins on the built environment. Headline Partner, Leica Geosystems, a cutting-edge global leader in sensor, software and autonomous solutions, will present The Smart Digital Reality™. This technology brings autonomy to digital twins, allowing them to make unaided decisions and become smarter over time to better support building projects.

Other exhibitors that will present their game changing products in simulation software and digital twins include, Vectorworks, Revvis, NavVis, Whatschanged, Bluesky International, Cintoo and Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES). Visitors will have the opportunity to listen to two inspirational talks from a choice of these eight brands, interact directly with the technical teams and book one-to-one meetings. The event also features a keynote address from digital twin expert Mark Enzer, head of the National Digital Twin Programme at the Centre for Digital Built Britain, where visitors can ask any burning questions that they might have about digital twins and their applications.
